NOTE: This issue has been resolved by using the latest Altera USB Blaster software. This article remains here for historical reference. The Altera USB Blaster is a USB device that is used to program Altera parts. It has been found that the driver conflicts with other USB products that are based on the FTDI driver. One of these products is the Total Phase Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter.

Altera has expressed that they will resolve the conflict in a future software upgrade. In the meantime, Total Phase has provided this package for users to update their Altera USB Blaster driver such that it does not conflict with the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter. The README.txt in the package contains more detailed information on how to apply the update.
